Chuck Close is a very patient fellow. His works are mainly portraits but compositionaly I do not find them uninteresting like a normal portrait may turn out. These works are made up of individual images put together to make a whole and the process takes him unbelievably long. This shows identity within the paintings and images as clear a
s day.
